Affinity Groups

"Affinity" is defined as "similarity of structure or character suggesting a relationship," or "feeling of kinship." We want to start some new groups this summer based on just this -- similarity of things that you like! Wouldn't it be fun to do things that you like with other people that like the same things, and talk about the Lord while you're doing it? Following are the groups we're beginning:

The Zumba Group                            

Are you ready to party yourself into shape??? That's exactly what the Zumba program is all about. It's an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that's moving millions of people toward joy and health  --  and now it's come to New Song twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays  from 6pm to 7pm. We will follow an instructor on DVD.  So, come, bring your friends and family (women only!) and be a part of the fun! The "Mommy & Me" Group

This group is for stay-at-home-mothers to get together every Wednesday for a different adventure each week (water park, splash park, hiking, and other free outings that mothers can do with small children). Tara Schramm is the leader for this group and she will email you a couple of days before the event, so please be sure to sign up with your email address.
